Star Wars Saga Timeline:
32 BBY

Targeted at children ages four to six, Star Wars Early Learning Activity Center incorporates animated educational activities and characters from Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Included are Jar Jar Binks, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Queen Amidala and Boss Nass.

Before hopping into the festive worlds of Theed and Otoh Gunga, Queen Amidala asks you to create a character, or sign in with an existing one. Each world features various activities and games. While in the bustling metropolis of Theed, for example, you can participate in Gungan Sling Painting or the Naboo Puppet Theater, and create and interact with rhythm in Music Droids.

Gungan Sling Painting involves coloring various droids to match the given pattern. There are ten droids per pattern that pop out of the ground. Because some droids are already painted, you must decide which colors to apply to those that need painting.

Building language and vocabulary skills, the Naboo Puppet Theater features incomplete stories (based on characters from the movie) and various words. Your mission is to fill in the blanks, using the given words, so the puppet show can be performed. The show and storyline is riding on your shoulders!

Afterwards, head over to the Theed Music Hall and participate in the Music Droids activity. Using the Melody Map, you can select various tunes including background music, notes and instruments (violins, pianos and saxophones). This musical session teaches the foundations of basic music concepts and familiarizes you with instrumental sounds.

The educational fun doesn't end there. Otoh Gunga features three activities including the Gungan Deesco Dance, Dunk Boss Nass and a treasure hunt. Using various icons representing different functions, the Gungan Deesco Dance lets you create dance sequences with Jar Jar Binks. You can choreograph seven dance steps in a single sequence. Icons represent various moves, music patterns, and erasers to undo previous steps. Once a sequence is complete, Binks will perform your dancing creation!

Dunk Boss Nass requires you to throw different types of critters into various tubes. Some Timas feature varying colors, tails and horns and you must match and place them into the corresponding tubes. Tubes are labeled with matching flags representing these discrepancies. After correctly sorting out the critters, Boss Nass splashes into the water tank!

Finally, the treasure hunt has you seeking out hidden clams with Obi-Wan Kenobi. As he is swimming around, you click on various items and overturn rocks as the announcer offers hints and clues as to where the clams are hidden. Spanning five caves, there is one clam per level and their locations differ each time the activity is played.

Star Wars Early Learning Activity Center also features sound, graphical and printing options. Additionally, the instruction manual offers suggestions on family learning activities games that can be played in the comfort of your own home.
