Star Wars Saga Timeline:
32 BBY

Join every kid's favorite clumsy Gungan in Star Wars: Jar Jar's Journey Adventure Book, an activity center replete with child-friendly games and puzzles based on Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

The title's main attraction is an animated interactive storybook, retelling the actions of the movie's first half through the perspectives of Jar Jar Binks, Queen Amidala, Anakin Skywalker and Qui-Gon Jinn. On each of the 14 pages, children can click on various aspects of the scenery (characters, devices, etc.) and see how they react. At the bottom of the screen, the narrator's words are lit up as he or she speaks. Click on certain words to hear one of two other synonyms or a song about the word.

Available on six of the story's pages is a unique game having to do with the scene. For instance, clicking on the bongo sub during Jar Jar and the Jedi's trip through Naboo's core yields a maze activity, while children can help R2-D2 fix the hyperdrive by playing a Simon-like memory game. Other activities include a coloring book; creating crazy creatures with the heads, torsos and legs of different aliens; a card game similar to Memory; and assuming the role of a Mos Espa food merchant who must fix up the proper dish for his customers.

The cast of voice talent includes those who have contributed to other Star Wars: Episode I related games. This includes several actors from the film, such as Ahmed Best (Jar Jar), Jake Lloyd (Anakin) and Andy Secombe (Watto).
